Clash Royale Got The Best Game in Google Play Awards 2016

Nominations for the best apps and games were has been done few months back! Im glad to see that our loving game Clash Royale snatched the Best Game of 2016. There were some good games that got nominated but finally Clash Royale Got the crown.

During the Google I/O 2016 Google Play were giving awards to the best developers for their awesome apps and games. Clash Royale from Super Cell got the crown of the Best Game beating Alto's Advententure, Minecraft: Story, Marvel Future Fight etc. It was not so surprising that Clash Royale got the reward. We should be happy on this great achievement of SuperCell.

We have already seen that Supercell is very careful to their creations and they work hard to get the best of their games and they are already on this track for Clash Royale. Along with this reward, there is no doubt that more great contents are coming in future otherwise this award will fail. But Supercell wll surely honor this by doing an amazing development of this game in the upcoming days!

Clash Royale's First level 6 Player to Reach Legendary Arena: Meet Pompeyo4.1

Reaching Legendary arena isnt an easy task for normal F2P players at this moment. But there is a player who made it Legendary arena, instead of being a level 6 player. Well we will find lots of players to hit Legendary arena being a f2p player, but the most amazing part is, he entered Legendary arena being a level 6. Sounds amazing, isnt it? I think yes! Meet Pompeyo4.1 a player from Mexico to achieve this record.

I've had the pleasure to talk with Pompeyo 4.1 who made this record. So what did he do to make this awesome record? Ive asked him few questions on his legendary work and he answered my questions very well.

Question: You started the journey thinking to achieve this record?

Pompeyo4.1: I really wanted to start a new account primarily because I was bored of Legendary Arena Gameplay, and I wanted something new and refreshing, so I went ahead and created it. Later, I got the ice wizard from a silver chest and that was the deciding factor.

Question: What make you achieve this great record?

Pompeyo4.1: Primarily the inspiration from the people, I said to myself "If those guys can make as level 7s to legends, why cant I do that as a lvl 6?"

Question: How did u get to know that the deck you were using will make it to legendary arena?

Pompeyo4.1: I created it, based on the fact I got 20 HOgs from a Giant chest and Ice wiz from a silver chest

Question: what is your feeling after achieving this great record?

Pompeyo4.1: I didnt believe it at first, it was awesome to know that I was the first (or one of the first) lvl 6 in legendary. I soon got in contact with Ash and he showcased me in one his videos, which brought lots of fame to me, and several top clans tried to recruit me afterwards.

Question: What are the tips you'll give towards the players who wants to achieve this target?

First day Impression of the New Clash Royale Update : All You Need to Know

Its been few hours the new Clash Royale Update 1.3.2 is out with brand new cards and few balance changes. This update has some great addition to the game and as well as this update has balanced the game in a nice way. For example, the mortar users were very much irritating but now hopefully we will see no more Mortar decks like it was happened with Xbow deck. Another good thing is, Supercell now decreased the lifetime of Bomb Tower which is one of the most wanted card. This was all the balance changes, now lets talk about the new features, the new cards to be more specific.

New Cards

New Common Card : Fire Spirits - they seems to be useful against some of the cards, not with the all cards though. This card is specially useful against the low HP cards like Goblins, Spear goblins, Minion horde etc. This will give you a good elixir advantage if it is used properly.
New Rare Card : Furnace - Another Spawner building addition. This building is a good addition to the game. Furnace spawns Fire spirits and those tiny creatures can easily keep one side busy. Also if it is used behind a tank then can deal good damage to those troops which will try to stop your tank.
New Epic Card : Skeleton Warriors - They looks like the smaller version of Barbarians with low elixir. They are pretty much useful
New Legendary Card : Sparky - One of the toughest cards in this game. If they have a tank infront, then you're gone! Looks like a better version of Pekka!
New Legendary Card : Lava Hound - Probably the most OP card in this game. Unless you counter this card with Minion Horde, one Lava Hound will take out your one tower. If not completely then it will eat almost the total health. This card looks like an ariel version of Golem.
New Legendary Card : Miner - It is a better version of Goblin Barrel. Much better to be honest, much more Hp, much more versatile and useful.

So the cards are pretty nice, but the fact is, out of this 6 new cards, 3 cards come under the Legendary type. For the normal f2p players, this is going to be hard to get those cards and this will completely help those big fatty gemmers to take the lead. However, SuperCell give those legendary cards but the drop rate is very very low, even I dont have any of the legendary cards. So unlucky? I think yes!

Other Cool Additions

The new card donation system is awesome. Better the arena, more the cards.
Super Magical chest drop is now double.
Live spectating of the friendly battles
TV Royale for all arenas. So you have a chance to get your battle featured on TV Royale.
Now you'll receive gold to win pvp upto a limit
Awesome new badges to tune up your clan. I've already seen about 10% of the clans have already changed their logo into the new ones.

The Final Verdict

The continuous effort SuperCell is always great. They are showing their care for their customers. However, keeping the monetary thing in their in their mind they are going ahead and making 3 legendary out of this 6 is just the proof of it.

Better Card Donation System and Double Crown Chest Rewards are Coming with Tournament Features

Just yesterday I was talking about the Tournament update and Super Cell again today confirmed that they are really working into something big. Not only the Tournament update they are going to bring huge changes on the Card Donations system.

Probable Changes on Next Update

Finally the Tournament system is going to be added with increased cap.
Now you can request 30 common cards or 3 Rare cards at a time which was 10 Common Cards or 1 Rare cards at a time for Royal Arena.
Crown Chest rewards will be doubled. More rewards is equal to more fun!

These are the confirmed changes for the next update but still can hope the leak that happened few weeks ago come true to add new troops and gold rewards on each PvP win to Clash Royale. The update will be hitting early next month. The updated Tournament system looks like this -

Clash Royale Tournament Coming Soon as Confirmed by Super Cell

Clash Royale is still at the early stages of development. There are many things that will be added in future updates and Tournament is one of them and the most wanted feature for now. Few days ago, the official Clash Royale Blog confirmed about the Tournament and few other things including watching live friendly battles.

Tournament is going to be the biggest part of Clash Royale. It is really a good news that the Clash Royale development team has confirmed about this good news. They have also showed a screenshot of the basic rules of the tournament.

According to the official Clash Royale Blog -

Clash Royale's fast, strategic gameplay is well-suited to competitions. We're thrilled that players are already organizing their own tournaments, and we've been watching as many as we can! One big lesson so far is that disparities in card and tower levels can be hard to overcome for even the most skilled players. In order to make tournaments a big part of Clash Royale, our goal is to give players an easy way to level the playing field.
To achieve this, we plan to emphasize the importance of our "Tournament Rules" in the future, which we consider to be the basis for competitive Clash Royale play. This will ensure that skill, timing and placement will always be the deciding factors in competitive matches.

They have also mentioned that -

Our philosophy on tournaments is that anyone who plays Clash Royale should be able to participate, and potentially win if they've got the chops. The best of the best will be determined by the quality of the player, not the level of their cards!
We're still working out the bigger picture for how we want to fully emphasize Tournament Rules gameplay, but in the meantime we can say that we'll be adding live spectating to Friendly Battles in the next update! This should really help tournament creators run better and more exciting events! Stay tuned for more on the Tournament Rules topic coming soon.

It seems like Super Cell is really working hard with Clash Royale and doing changes regularly, which is very good for all the gamers out there! Though there is no announcement of timing but still we can hope that this will come with the next big update at the end of April. Font Colors will be Removed in Next Update

SuperCell introduced font colors in Clash Royale few weeks ago and it is quite popular among the players to chnage their name colours to various ones like red, yellow, green etc. But Super Cell will be bringing an end to these fun soon! Probably in the next update.

As per the Clash Royale Reddit Community, Super Cell will be removing the font colour feature in the next update and your name will be staying with the color codes. For example, if you have color on your name then after the removing of the color your name will appear as <c2>Your Name</c>

This will look terrible? Don't worry, Super Cell has got you. They will provide you a free name change to correct your mistake.

Now the question comes, why Super Cell is doing this? This isn't affecting anything! On this Question, Super Cell gave a reasonable answer.

The next update will be hitting the store probably on the middle of the April with some cool new features too.

iClash Royale Tournament #1 : India's first ever clash royale tournament

iClashRoyale is hosting the first ever clash royale tournament for ios users in india. All 32 clashers will meet in a new clan (IN) Tournament -#2GRUJ02. Reward will be given in gems to the winner. To play the tournament we have decided some rules that need to be followed by players are as follows"

It will be a single elimination tournament at first played within 32 players
The first and second round will be the knouckout round.
The quaterfinal, semifinal will be of 3 where as the final will be of 5 battles.
Only 3 defence building are allowed including elixer pump.
Cheating will result in disqualification and no rematch if connection fails.
No speaking in the clan untill and unless the staffs ask you to speak.
No arguement with the staffs and will result into straight disqualification.

Prize: Winner gets ios gift cards.

Venue and time: The tournament will be conducted today at 11.00 am and the clan tag is #2GRUJ02.

Win Rewards are Coming With New Troops on Clash Royale

It has been only 2 weeks Clash Royale has gone global. The game is pretty much interesting and there are already good number of troops for now. But rumors saying that an update is on the way with brand new cards and our most wanted PvP battle win rewards. Though i can not say if this is 100% true or not but this is probably going to happen. Now you are wondering, what are the troops and what are the rewards? Here we go!

This update looks interesting as of now and this will probably be a sneak peek for Clash Royale, the second big update after global launch. From the list, the Lava Hound looks nice but 8 elixirs is a pretty high amount though it has 3000 hitpoints.

But the best part of this update will probably be the addition of the win rewards. It is the most wanted thing for the gamers who spend a lot of time for trophy hunting. This gold reward will encourage them more!

Hopefully the update will arrive during the mid or last week of April, but still we can't say anything for now cause there is no official statement from Super Cell.
